It's All Been Said Before

What the hell can I say about the Pistons/Pacers brawl that hasn't been said before. Well I'll say something anyway.

There are too many people to blame for what went down at the game. But one thing I take from it is the growing gap between players and fans. We have little patience for players and the players give less and less shits about us. It's a vicious cycle really.

The NBA should come down hard on the Pistons and not allow them to sell beer for an extended amount of time. They have shown that they don't put enough security in the building and the fans have shown that they can't handle their beer.

Unfortunately, Stern will just take the easy way out and come down hard on the players.

One good thing that I hope has come out of this; fans should now be scared enough of the players to NOT throw shit at them. The one bad thing is the guy who actually threw the cup wasn't the one who got his ass beat.

You Can Drink and Drive and Manage...No Wait

So Arizona doesn't want Wally Backman to manage the Diamondbacks, they have their reasons.

Wally had a DUI (among some other stuff)that he kinda forgot to tell everybody about and that was enough for the Diamondbacks to not take a chance.

But the STATE of Arizona voted for Bush to be President even though he was a cokehead and has had DUI's.

So In Arizona, running the country with a arrest record...good. Running the baseball team with a arrest record...bad.

I got to give them credit, they are very serious about their baseball!

Nice Move David

That was a real genius move to start the NBA season on election night commissioner Stern.

I'm looking at the schedule and there seems to be a untapped TV market right around the time the Super Bowl starts.
